how Germans in the East are endeavouring to cause trouble.

The Monarchial Movement,

5. An agent of Sun Yat Sen in conversation with

Chinese secret service agents in the employ of this Command,

informed them there would be an anti-monarchial outbreek

throughout China almost immediately (12/11/15),

Shanghai Intelligence.

6. Three hundred Artillerymen and 10 guns have been

sent to the Shanghai Arsenal from Peking owing to the

likelihood of an anti-monarchial movement. The guns, as far

as can be ascertained, are Krupp pattern 12 pounders.

The French Police arrested 42 men who were going to

make a demonstration in the native city and overpower the

Police and get others to join them and then attack the Arsenal. The French Police over the week-end (29/10-1/11)

have been reported as capturing an important individual who

was connected with the 1915 rebellion and the authorities

realise that the anti-Yuanites have a big following.
